Critique of a Good Samaritan story out of Buffalo New York by Isabel Keane

The story I am critiquing is: https://nypost.com/2023/01/15/buffalo-man-saved-during-blizzard-loses-fingers-to-frostbite/

This story covers a story of a lady, Sha’Kyra Aughtry,  helping a mentally disabled man, Joey White, survive one of Buffalo New York’s worst blizzards. He had frostbite so bad were he lost almost all ten of his finger, he has one of his thumbs left. The blizzard had happened around Christmas time, so the reporter cold have stopped there and took that as the reason she performed this great act of kindness you know just feeling generous from the time of year. But, what I think is important is she did not stop there she got to the root of the real reasoning behind why this lady let a complete stranger in her home and take care of him the way she did. The reason is because just four years before this happened her brother came crawling to her doorstep crying for help dying from a gunshot wound, so she knew she could not let that happen again. When she heard and saw what was happening outside of her door again she brought the man into her home and tended to him until they could get him to the hospital. With the weather the way it was they had to wait days to get to the hospital. This reporter did justice to this story and definitely gave credit where it was due.
